I was too impatient to wait for raws so you get the n00bish black bars to hide the subtitles XP This practically wrote itself in my head as soon as I heard the song, and making it was a good learning experience since I figured out how to use windows movie maker (absurdly easy) and virtualdubmod (a lot more complicated) in the process. Now that I know how to edit in Vdubmod and import that into WMM, I'm itching to try some stuff out on the Sanji-centric one I've got simmering in the back of my head ^-^ So I'm looking for constructive criticism on this one, such as whether I overuse the aged film effect or anything like that. Also suggestions for a title, since the best I could come up with is 'Death by Angst'. Cheers!

Since I wasn't alive in the 70's, was too young to pay attention in the 80's and 90's, and American History class only covered through the Cold War, I was unaware of just how much of the trouble in the Middle East our country is indirectly (or directly) responsible for. I don't get the urge to draw often (last time was 3 years ago) but the combination of lily22's One Piece fanfic 'Sansen Sekai' and Stephanie Law's painting 'Spirits and Steel' was too delicious to resist. 'Sansen Sekai' managed to be wonderfully in character and engaging without any kind of overt romantic overtones, something that is difficult to do and entirely in keeping with the nakama spirit One Piece revolves around. Stephanie's watercolors are always beautiful and inspirational, and I'm afraid I haven't done it justice in this pencil sketch.
